What a lovely place to have a special treat. I took my daughter there for high tea as a Birthday treat.. It was lovely we were treated well, service was good but, not in your face. A very good choice of teas, coffee was offered also. Remember to book in advance for afternoon or high tea though.
We enjoyed a light lunch - quiche and even a fish finger sandwich (memories of our childhood) spacious and nicely served with egg timer to ensure tea was brewed perfectly. We will visit again but not as often as we would had it been dog friendly (hence 4 not 5 stars).
Shabby chic decor, friendly and helpful staff, and the tea! Decent selection of scrumptious cakes made fresh. Artisan breakfast that does not disappoint. The tea sets are cute and colourful; and the space is comfortable, not cramped. Certainly worth a stop in.
This teashop was the cutest. My mom and I shared the licorice tea with a scone, clotted cream and strawberry jam. It was delightful. The staff were very friendly and quick to serve us. Great spot to share tea with a friend or family member. Highly recommend.
Met a friend for a coffee and a catch up. Initially arranged to meet at Costa but when I arrived it was really hot and stuffy in there so walked down the road to Beatons. We were greeted with a friendly welcome. Tables nicely placed so not too close together. Large breakfast menu with nice looking cakes on display too. Complemented by an extensive selection of teas and coffees. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Staff all very helpful and didn't feel hurried. Great cafe will visit again.
